ABOUT THE SHOW:

The Comedy Caravan, featuring Yaser, Shakir and Khaled
Laugh Out Loud at Comedy Palace with 'The Comedy Caravan,' featuring three of Saudi Arabia's biggest stand up stars: Yasr Bakr, Shakir Sharif and Khalid Khalifa. On the heels of their 2016 U.S. tour, the caravan is on the road again, using their unique brand of observational humor to shed light on life in the Middle East and poke fun at misconceptions of the region.

Shakir Sharif, Khalid Khalifa and Yaser Bakr are Saudi comedians who have performed alone and together in Jeddah and around the world. After a career in marketing, Yaser Bakr stumbled upon his gift for comedy while doing a standup routine at a friends party. He went on to found Saudi Arabias first comedy club, AlComedy Club in Jeddah, where he is both the manager and a regular performer. His passion for nurturing young comedic talent at AlComedy Club has earned him the title father of Saudi comedy. He is known for his satire and observational humor on everyday life. Shakir Sharif first made his comedy debut as a writer on the hit Youtube show, Esh Elly. He now performs internationally, and has become a well-known comedy writer and actor on a number of Youtube shows, including one of his own creation. He is known for his celebrity impressions. Khalid Khalifa began his comedy career while living in Sacramento, CA, as part of Laughs Unlimited. He has since taken his act global, performing over eighty shows throughout the Gulf region, including at the first ever stand up show in Yemen. He is known for his podcast, which shares life in Saudi Arabia with the English-speaking world.
